LJ Partnership certainly hasn’t had a quiet 12 months. ‘We have made a number of significant acquisitions across Europe, the US and Asia, says LJ Partnership’s head of Private Office, CharlesFilmer. ‘This breadth of expertise differentiates us and enables us provide the full range of services that are required by today’s sophisticated investors, HNWI’s and families.’ He adds that with the recent European and Asian acquisitions, the group is in a position of strength rather than weakness when it comes to tackling any problems that might arise from Brexit.
Filmer describes LJ Partnership that sees the founders of the business and its partners co-investing alongside HNW families, individuals and foundations who want to take more of a control of their wealth – which means in turn finding the best-in-class wealth managers to do just that. And it’s been successful – the group currently supervises more than $13 billion in 11 locations.
Filmer is also passionate about African conversation – so much so that he sits on a number of boards of charities specializing in conservation. And elsewhere, he enjoys equestrianism and live opera, amongst a number of other things.
