James Heath wanted to focus on intellectual property as a barrister, but ended up at News International (‘working for Rupert Murdoch, whereas nowadays I tend to sue him’) before joining a specialist private practice firm. With many years in media litigation and crisis management, Heath has acted for the largest number of claimants on their phone hacking claims against the publishers of the News of the World and The Sun, and is lead solicitor against the Mirror publishers.
