The team of consultants and therapists at the Georgian manor house-based Life Works Community in Old Woking, Surrey, has more than a decade of specialised experience in behavioural health. Its work encompasses treating all forms of addiction, including internet addiction, as well as eating disorders, depression, anxiety and compulsive disorders. Recovery programmes are all based on the 12-step philosophy, which views recovery as directly connected with an individual’s spirituality and need for change. Treatment methods include arts-based psychotherapy and psycho-educational workshops. For the utmost privacy, clients can have sole occupancy of the cottage, a separate house within the grounds with a secluded garden, for £10,000 per week.
