Neil Kirton, former investment banker, is now a managing director of Kroll’s investigations and disputes department. It’s not quite ‘hunter’ to ‘hunted’, but it’s close. Kirton admits that now he can see both sides of the fence with regards to deals, and his investigations are coming earlier and earlier into the deal process — as is the need to gather information. Using his 40 years of experience in the investment banking world — he is formerly a board member of Arbuthnot Banking group and CEO of its securities business before that and run various equities sales businesses for Bridgewell and Hoare Govett (which was bought by ABN Amro) — is obviously a big plus for Kroll and its clients, too.
