Every well-versed shopper will recognise Nikki Tibbles’ flowers in pots outside the Liberty department store. Abandoning a career in advertising in the early 1990’s, Tibbles’ entrepreneurial success began inside the ethereal-sounding and iconic Turquoise Island shop in Notting Hill. She now also has a flagship shop on the Pimlico Road, the epicentre of London’s design district. As well as delivering flowers to Kensington Palace, other clients have afforded her opportunities to decorate weddings in Santorini, corporate occasions for Apple and Jo Malone, and a gala dinner for the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation. ‘No request is too big and no detail is too small,’ is Tibbles’ philosophy.
