Since its establishment in 1995, Michaelis Boyd has offered a broad range of architectural and interior design services, from residential new-builds to renovations of hotels, restaurants and bars. Its work can be found in the UK, Europe, Africa, Nepal, Turkey and the US. Commissions include Soho Farmhouse, a members’ club in a palazzo, Kichwa Tembo Game Reserve in Kenya, the Groucho Club in London and the MK2 cinema group in Paris. ‘We don’t have a specific practice style but there is a strong design DNA that runs through all of our projects as they respond to individual clients,’ says partner Simon Haycock. Each project is unique yet exudes a certain familiarity. Other recent gems include Parker Tower and Clerkenwell House.
