British designers Elliot March and James White are well known for outfitting superyachts and have many clients in the property development and branded residence spaces, including the Mandarin Oriental and Heatherwick Studio’s Lantern House.

MAWD, founded in 2010, now has offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. Both March and White have strong architectural backgrounds, which ‘brings a logic and objectivity to my process’, says White. ‘We create interiors very much in the way we approach artistic endeavours. Creating an idea and concept, selecting a palette and then layering with pattern and texture. Each project is a unique story.’
