You can’t fault Justin Bowman on dedication. He joined Air Charter Service over 20 years ago on a placement from university, worked his way up to CEO and transformed it into the $500 million company it is today. He says ‘the real growth started in the 2000s’ after the company opened an office in New York. Sixteen further offices followed. For every new office, says Bowman, account managers are trained for four months and have to test an aircraft to ensure they know exactly what they’re selling. Bowman takes pride in the company’s consistent record: ‘When you open a can [of Coca-Cola], you know what it’s going to taste like. When someone phones an ACS office they know exactly what standard they are going to get.’
