Blink was co-founded by Harvard Business School graduates and former investment bankers Peter Leiman and Cameron Ogden (now managing director). After careers at UBS and Goldman Sachs, the pair developed the idea for Blink while conducting a proof of concept for retailing giant Walmart. Based at Blackbushe Airport, Blink’s fleet of nine jets provides access to more than 600 convenient destinations across Europe. It claims to offer the benefits of private aviation at prices competitive with commercial business class and at a lower price than traditional lightjet options. Blink, which in 2015 acquired rival MyJet, adding three aircraft to the fleet, also has bases in Geneva and the Channel Islands, and celebrated transporting its 20,000th passenger in 2016.
