Tom Perry, who studied aeronautical engineering at Bristol, has been in his current role with Cessna since 1992. The vice-president of sales for Europe is one of the best-known faces in private jet sales. His role is an important one, as Europe is one of the largest markets for the Citation family of business jets, with more than 800 examples flying. On the flight plan in the near future is the first journey for the new Citation Longitude, which can fly for 3,500 nautical miles on a fuel payload of 1,600 pounds — making non-stop routes from New York to Paris, London to Dubai, and Singapore to Sydney possible. Further ahead, Perry will be tasked with notching up sales for the brand new Citation Hemisphere, which has just been unveiled as being in development.
