A former professional tennis player, Djordjevic appeared regularly in the Davis Cup during the 1990s, first for Yugoslavia and later for Serbia — unbeaten in doubles — and participated in the main draw of eleven grand slam events and Wimbledon mixed doubles in 1999. Engaging, personable and perhaps inoculated against the intensity of big wins and losses after a career in sport, he confesses to being a bit more ‘bulletproof ’ than some sector colleagues. Tennis hasn’t been irrelevant to the executive director’s start in wealth management. His clients include a number of current and former sportspeople. ‘It helps to be able to relate to the pressures that they face during and after their professional careers,’ he says.
