Chris French, who graduated from Durham, is Goldman Sachs’ head of private wealth management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is well versed in the diverse needs of UHNWs, and has clients from all over the world. Speaking to the FT on the subject of UHNW loans, he stated that ‘wealthy clients want leverage, and they are good quality borrowers’. With business acumen and decades of expert knowledge in tow, French understands that clients’ liquidity needs are vital for the firm’s European lending business.
