Dr Cristina Romete founded ROC Private Clinic in 2010 – with a mission to deliver excellence and an integrative approach to patients’ wellbeing.
‘Reputation is key,’ she tells Spear’s of her role. ‘If one does an OK job, a patient may come back to see you if there are no other immediate options. If one does an excellent job, then the patient becomes a patient for life.’
It’s an approach that is fully reflected in the firm’s ongoing success. Last year, its Aberdeen based clinic undertook a major expansion, while the Harley Street branch is strengthening its base in terms of international clientele, with patients from the Americas in particular.
Throughout her career, Dr Romete has come to look after individuals and families from a wide range of backgrounds, from HNW and UHNW individuals and families, through to international executives and top performers from the music and entertainment industry.
The firm aims to provide its clients with top-tier clinical care as well as all other information and services that make accessing top specialist care easy, convenient and comfortable.
ROC Clinic is steadfast in its ongoing commitment to promote excellence in healthcare through continuous education of staff, taking an integrative approach to patient care. ‘Doctors here at ROC undertake monthly internal training and updates in latest medical advances,’ Dr Romete explains. ‘We are inquisitive and restless; complacency has no place within ROC. Indeed, we have a dedicated Clinical Innovation Group that aims to keep ROC at the forefront of its peers.’
‘ROC Clinic reflects an ethos, drive and determination to make a difference – and present our patients with clear advice and options to enable them to make the best decisions for their health,’ Dr Romete adds.
Based in the Harley Street area since September 2006, Dr Romete currently spreads her time between the firm’s Harley Street and Aberdeen Clinic locations.
HNW clients may well be minded to note ROC’s VIP Care Program. ‘They receive regular updates on health matters relevant to them,’ says Dr Romete. ‘They speak to a person they know and trust at all times. They can be rest assured that their health planning is ongoing and incorporates the latest medical approach to preventative care.’
