Mike Lebus has spent the year looking for the ‘next problem to solve’, after growing his 14-year-old network to nearly a million members, with over 100,000 pitches submitted last year. ‘We’ve tried to never lose touch with our entrepreneurial roots,’ Lebus says. In January 2018 he launched SeedTribe, a crowdfunding platform focusing on businesses in the impact space. Each business is selected and vetted by the team and matched with one or two lead angels, before being launched on the site with minimum investments from £100 to £1,000. In April 2018, Lebus launched BrickTribe – a platform specifically connecting property developers with investors.
