Set on the edge of woodland in the Kalahari savannah, Feline Fields is the fulfilment of a lifelong dream for founders Marjan Blom and Raphael Real del Sarte, who hail it as ‘an inviting oasis where indulgently comfortable interiors integrate seamlessly with the raw African beauty’. The luxurious camp also supports a more ambitious project: the conservation of the vulnerable wilderness and wildlife of Africa. Much of it is on safari in The Lodge’s immediate environs, including leopards, elephants and packs of rare wild dogs. It’s also home to ungulates like the majestic gemsbok. Guests can also enjoy the camp’s tennis court and striking 25-metre lap pool, and spend hours horse riding or mountain biking.
